Mr. Divyang Sinh Chauhan

He is a businessman with great concern for the environment, forest and wildlife. He runs an International School in Silvassa and uses this platform to create awareness about our natural resources and its conservation

Mr. Shivaji Chavan

He is an academician, trainer and researcher in the Field of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment and allied Field. As a forest officer, he served the Maharashtra Forest Service, Forest Department of Maharashtra from 1986 to 2011. He was associated with WWF while on a sabbatical from his service with the forest department. His expertise lies in Wildlife, Environmental Conservation, Environmental Economics, Carbon Budgeting, Applications of Modern Tools and Technology in Forest, Wildlife, Environment and allied fields.

Mr. Suresh Thorat

A retired forest officer, who is interested in rural development, environment, and non-conventional energy resources. He joined the Indian Forest Service in 1981 and retired in September 2015 as Addl Principle Chief Conservator of forest, Wildlife Western Zone Mumbai. He held the post of Chief Conservator of Forest Mumbai from 2008 to 2010. He was the Chief Conservator of Forest, Thane between 2010-2011 and was the Addl Director General, Social Forestry from 2011 to 2013. During his tenure he has worked in various capacities in forestry sector of the State of Maharashtra. He likes to interact and discuss various social issues as well.

Mr Jarnail Singh

Shri Jarnail Singh IFS, a freelance forestry Expert, has over 33 years of experience in scientific forestry management. He belongs to 1983 batch of Indian Forest Service fraternity of Maharashtra cadre and retired from govt. service in June 2015. Presently he is based, at Nagpur. He opted for deputation to Government of India (GOI) from 1994 to 2001 and served in capacity of Associate Professor, IGNFA, Dehradun, Principal SFS College, Dehradun, and DFE, GOI, Dehradun. His last assignment was the Chief General Manager, FDCM Ltd, at Nagpur, in the rank of Additional PCCF, MS.

Mrs. Anjana Pant

She is associated with Encore, US as a Director. She was the Associate Director WWF India from May 2010 – July 2014. She has also served as Senior Coordinator, Toxics Programme WWF India from February 2004 – May 2010 New Delhi Area. She has also worked with Avineon India Technologies as Head Projects during September 2001 – January 2004 She was a Research Associate at Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun between September 1995 – August 2001. She has over 15 years of experience in research, teaching, project management and training. During her tenure at WII, she worked on Management of Forests in India For Biological Diversity and Forest Productivity – A new perspective on 4 sites in India:
i. Satpura Conservation Area (central India)
ii. Terai Conservation Area (Himalayan foothills)
iii. Anaimalai Conservation Area (South India)
iv. Garo Conservation Area (North-east India)
She has also worked on Human Elephant conflict in West Bengal Forests

Mrs Kirti Chauhan

She has a Masters in Zoology and manages the School at Silvassa along with Mr. Divyang Chauhan. She too is greatly concerned for the environment, forest and wildlife and works for it.
